287 SILVER TRAUMA REVIEW CLINIC – A NOVEL MODEL OF CARE FOR OLDER TRAUMA

Abstract Background Increasing numbers of older patients are presenting to Emergency Departments (ED) following trauma. These require multidisciplinary care that the traditional trauma model fails provide. Therefore, a Silver Trauma Review Clinic (STRC) was developed in conjunction with geriatric, ED and physiotherapy services. The goal clinic is provide comprehensive management for non operative traumatic injuries.
